In our everyday social gatherings, people tend to ask me where I work or what I do. When I tell them that I work with Mahindra AFS, the conversation ahead changes drastically! And why wouldn’t it? It’s a household name, be it the XUV5OO or the Swaraj tractors, everyone knows brand Mahindra!
I joined Mahindra AFS as a Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET). From that stage onwards, the one thing I have learned is how to grow as a person, every day! As an engineer, I’ve always had a keen interest in understanding the technical aspect of matters. After working in a department which manages supply quality, I ended up developing an interest in the function of Supply Chain Management.
Now, I was a little hesitant and had all the questions pop out of my head that went, “Will my manager let me move?” “Will the leadership approve of this?” Let me tell you one thing: if you’re passionate about your work, the leadership here is going to support you in every way possible. As soon as I spoke to my manager, the process was smooth and quick!
The learning curve of your individual growth chart will never go down in this organisation. If you feel that your learning is reducing, the leadership is more than willing to ensure you explore other functions and roles in the organisation.
