What makes an employee stick by an organisation for years? Although this question has a combination of varied responses – one thing that stands as a dominant factor is the culture.
Working as a trainee at Mahindra during college days, I was in awe of the culture. It was open, transparent, and bred ample of opportunities to grow. After graduation, I was working with another company for 2 years, and as soon as I got a chance to return to Mahindra; I was back without much thought!
Career in Manufacturing
In a career spanning over 25 years, I have got a chance to explore many roles in the organisation across, both, technical and managerial roles.
I think the best part was the way I was able to learn something new, almost every single day. This one thing excites me the most about being here at Mahindra AFS and that is what keeps me going.
Rise is A Way of Life
Another aspect of Mahindra, that is pleasantly evident in every function we perform, is the desire to improve, innovate, and make something better. All employees carry a hunger that drives them to outperform their previous attempt while doing a particular task. That is what the philosophy of Rise is, at its crux – to drive positive change and continuous innovation.
The evidence of which is our seven manufacturing patents from the Nagpur plant that we registered by continuously working towards betterment in terms of processes, systems, and other engineering functions. For me along with many employees at Mahindra, the philosophy of Rise is a way of life.
The only way to grow is to get better, improve, and never let the hunger to innovate die out. That is what we stand for, and that is what we strive to achieve each day at Mahindra AFS.
