The key factor that drove me towards Mahindra AFS was the perfectly nurtured culture of the organisation. Even for an outsider, it is hard to miss the spark that our culture carries within itself!
During my initial days at Mahindra AFS, I was given the responsibility to start and develop a business from scratch. Even today, I recall my initial days as one of the most thrilling experiences in my life. There was a sense of joy and accomplishment when I saw the business grow exponentially over the years and turn into a profitable venture.
What inspires me the most about the culture at Mahindra AFS is professionalism deeply embedded with empowerment. The open culture creates an environment encircling diverse learning opportunities.
What Motives Us
As for my best moments at Mahindra, I think I have not one but three of them – when I received the Rise award in 2014, the Best New Agri Business award, and Living Rise Award for Entrepreneurship in the year 2015!
I have put on several hats while working here. The key element that distinguishes us from others is the top leadership’s role in keeping you empowered enough to deliver your best. There are always ample opportunities available. All it takes is someone who can make the most of them along with passion. The organisation believes in giving you a blank canvas with the tools; however, it is on you to paint it your unique way.
Over the years, I have known that the best way to inspire people to give their utmost essential is to have them stick to the basics. Like the culture at Mahindra AFS, I believe in constant engagement and communication with the team members, along with making them a part of every process and decision. Involving the team in important discussions and bouncing off ideas to them helps in improving the efficiency of the workflow and gives a sense of ownership to them.
